Stage 2 Industry Connections
Industry Connections Barista enables students interested in the hospitality industry to develop barista skills and knowledge. They enhance their employability through a self-directed, industry-related project, gaining practical experience and understanding of the industry, and refining their capabilities for future employment.

Students plan and design OSHC programs, developing skills in child safety, activity planning, budgeting, and team collaboration. Industry links include visits from experienced OSHC coordinators, trips to childcare facilities, and purchasing materials for activities, enhancing their practical learning experience and preparing them for careers in out-of-school hours care and other childcare environments.

Industry links include visits from local cabinet makers, trips to construction businesses, and purchasing materials for estimating and planning, enhancing their practical learning experience throughout the program.
