Stage 2 General Mathematics

Year 12 General Mathematics extends students’ mathematical skills in ways that apply to practical problem solving. Students in Stage Two General Mathematics will study a combination of personal financial management, the statistical investigation process, modelling using functions, and discrete modelling, prior to completing the subject with an external examination.

Prerequisites: Prerequisites: B for both Semesters of Stage 1 General Mathematics or C for one Semester of Stage 1 Mathematical Methods
