Year 9 Indonesian Language & Culture (S1)
Students will learn weather reporting, delve into social, political, and environmental change makers, and analyse the impactful films "Sokola Rimba" on education's power and "Garuda di Dadaku" depicting life in Indonesia. They will engage in interactions, interpret and create texts, and use Indonesian to exchange ideas, information, and opinions on these topics.

Year 9 Indonesian Language & Culture (S2)
Students will explore Indonesia’s history through “The Spice Trail” documentary, study the Indigenous Australian Yolngu & Makassar trade, learn about the celebration of Indonesian Independence Day and the mythical story of Barong & Rangda. They'll also examine Indonesia-Australia trade relations, engaging in interactions and interpreting, creating, and exchanging information in Indonesian about these topics.
