What will I learn

In Humanities you will explore Civics and Citizenship, History and Geography. You will:  

  • Learn about the movement of people  

  • Develop an understanding of historical events for other cultures and their impacts on the world 

  • Learn about liveability, with a focus on Asia and key geographical and historical ideas 

  • Focus on Civics and Citizenship, the role of government, voting and how democracies operate, as well as learning how to develop new laws within Australia.  

  • Understand the processes of Business and Economics by delving into profit/loss, trade-offs and decision making.

What attributes do I need? 

Interest in active learning, contributing to discussions in class, challenging ideas and thinking. Interest in Australia as a nation, its celebrations and challenges and relationships with other countries.
