Year 10 Tourism
In Year 10 Tourism, students develop an understanding of the nature of tourists, tourism, and the tourism industry. They investigate both international and Australian tourism destinations, providing an opportunity to apply the practical tourism skills of acting in the role of a travel consultant. Students also gain an understanding of the complex economic, social, cultural and environmental impacts of tourism and explore their understanding of tourism concepts, including sustainable tourism and cultural sustainability
