Year 10 Physical Education

10 Physical Education

In 10 Physical Education, students will explore fitness factors through research and activities, analysing data from various sports. They will study coaching principles, create and apply a coaching plan, and evaluate their performance. Additionally, students will collaboratively organise and participate in a student-led round-robin tournament, contributing through set committees.

10 Advanced Physical Education

Students gain an understanding of human functioning within physical activity. They explore their own physical capacities and analyse performance improvement. Students develop skills in data collection and analysis and the ability to apply theoretical knowledge. Students participate in units based on: Energy Systems and Netball; and the application of training methods and principles and Volleyball and Biomechanics.
