Stage 1 Outdoor Education (S1 - Aquatics)
Stage One Outdoor Education emphasizes outdoor activity planning, environment conservation, and personal development. Activities like kayaking, surfing, and a three-day aquatics camp promote environmental sustainability, understanding ecosystem impact, and risk management. Students cultivate leadership, self-management, group dynamics, planning, and reflection skills. Note: basic swimming skills recommended as kayak capsizing and rescuing included plus additional costs (approx.) up to $200 for the camp.

Stage 1 Outdoor Education (S2 - Bush Walking)
In Stage One Outdoor Education, students focus on planning outdoor activities, environmental conservation, and personal growth. They participate in rock climbing and bushwalking, concluding with a three-day bushwalking camp. The course enhances self-reliance, relationships with nature, and skills in leadership, self-management, group dynamics, planning, reflection, and environmental stewardship. Note: The course includes challenging activities like backpack hiking and shared tent camping with additional costs (approx.) up to $200 for the camp.
