Stage 1 Child Studies
Stage 1 Child Studies (S1)
In Stage One Child Studies, students explore child development for ages 2-4 through individual, collaborative, and practical learning. They create Montessori-inspired educational toys and adapt family meals for to meet the nutritional needs of children. Students work in groups to promote health and social interaction through activity-based games and complete an investigation on a contemporary child development issue.

Stage 1 Child Studies (S2)
In Stage One Child Studies, students explore child development for ages 2-4 through individual, collaborative, and practical learning. They design nutritious childcare food and birthday party activities, create group activities focusing on nature or sensory play, and explore the benefits of physical education and learning through play. Students also investigate contemporary child development issues.
