Year 9 Woodwork

Students develop design and technological skills through hands-on projects based on a design brief. They use industry-standard CAD software and predominantly learn timber construction techniques to produce a designed solution safely, with opportunities for laser cutting and engraving. Students create, adapt, and refine design ideas, justifying their decisions with sustainable considerations, and communicate their processes and solutions using digital tools.
