Year 9 Game Design and eSport
This innovative subject immerses students in the dynamic world of competitive gaming and game creation. As video games shape the future of entertainment, understanding eSport and game design is crucial. Students will explore professional gaming strategies, teamwork, and the psychological, social, and educational impacts of games. They will learn game design processes and vector-based image creation, as well as the entire game creation process, understanding hardware and software, and ergonomics. Through hands-on projects, students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills, alongside proficiency in programming and graphic design. This subject offers a solid foundation for careers in the rapidly growing eSport and game design industry.
