Stage 1 Business Innovation (S1 - Business Skills)
Stage 1 Business Innovation prepares students for contemporary business environments by focusing on design-led approaches and customer-centric solutions. Through design thinking and assumption-based planning, students identify and solve customer problems, developing viable business products, services, and processes. They progress from guided processes to independent problem-solving, fostering a culture of risk-taking and iterative refinement. Collaborative teamwork enhances financial literacy and decision-making skills, vital for developing business models. Students learn about successful management in personal, business, and social contexts, on a local, national, and global scale. They gain knowledge and understanding of business operations; develop financial and technological skills; participate in planning and controlling business activities.

Stage 1 Business Innovation (S2 - Business Pitch)
Stage 1 Business Innovation prepares students for contemporary business environments by focusing on design-led approaches and customer-centric solutions. Students undertake the innovative design process to develop solutions to realistic world problems. Students gain knowledge and understanding of business operations; develop financial and technological skills; participate in planning, developing, and controlling business activities; and evaluate decisions on business practices. Students can engage with innovations and ideas, as well as to reflect on current business and enterprise issues and make informed decisions. Students develop high level presentation and business pitch skills to create valid prototypes to demonstrate their ideas.
