In conjunction with the 2019 Subject Selection process, all current Year 9, 10 & 11 students were required to attend the Futures & Careers Expo on Wednesday, 8 August in the Middle School. Current Year 12 students were also required to attend the Expo to gain information and insight into post-school options.
The evening was a success with a fantastic turn-out from our students, parents and caregivers. The interaction with our external exhibitors was encouraging with students and families obtaining essential information on career pathways. Thank you to our exhibitors for taking part in such an important event for our students.
The evening commenced with Subject Selection Information Sessions for Years 9-11 in the Middle School Lecture Theatre followed by a visit into the Expo arena in the Auditorium where Learning Area Leaders were available for subject discussions and external exhibitors providing information on career and post-school pathways.
All parents and caregivers were encouraged to attend with their child/ren to assist in the Subject Selection process and/or to gain insights into future career pathways.
