Cybersafe Families Parent Seminars

St Columba College is hosting two Cybersafe Families Parent Seminars. We invite all parents and caregivers to attend and be informed on how to effectively manage your digital environment with confidence. Topics will include: cyberbullying, digital footprint, friends and online friends, social media, protecting online identity, online grooming, device management and more.

These are FREE events, with registrations made online through Eventbrite. Alternatively, you can contact the College on 8254 0600 to make your booking.

The seminars provide parents and caregivers strategies to make their home environment cyber safe! It’s important for parents and caregivers to understand both the opportunities and the threats that the online world provides, to equip them with knowledge about the best practices available to protect their family. Cybersafe Families endorse the importance of providing suitable technology inclusive environments that are appropriate for the different stages of each child’s life.

Parents and caregivers are encouraged to bring their smartphone, ipad or tablet, where you will be coached through some practical settings on your devices.

Please note: seminars are not designed with students in attendance.
