From the Principal Ms Leanne Carr
St Columba College is a dynamic and caring place to be. Established in 1997 the College is an Anglican and Catholic school for girls and boys from Reception – Year 12.
Our model of education across three schools (Junior, Middle and Senior) is personalised and fosters thinking skills, enquiry and a love of learning. A St Columba education is one that prepares each girl and boy for an exciting and challenging future.
Our patron saint St Columba, an Irish priest who lived between 521-597 founded the Christian community on the Isle of Iona in Scotland. He is known for his love of God, his missionary work across Scotland and was a person of humility and deep charity. This is still relevant to us today. In our school we seek to nurture in our students a close relationship with God, a passion for living and service to others.
I encourage you to learn about everything that St Columba College has to offer…from our offerings in each of the schools, to our performing arts, music, sport, student leadership and outreach programs.
Keep in mind the best way to really get to know St Columba and our wonderful community is to visit us. If you are looking for a stimulating educational experience and a school that cares about each student, St Columba College may be the perfect fit for your family. I hope you enjoy browsing the pages of our website and that you gain an understanding of the happy and energising place that is St Columba.
